Membership in PDCA at the Council and Chapter levels, and in Specialty Forums all serve several very important functions. The Chapter and Council levels of membership provide an opportunity to meet other professional painting and wallcovering contractors on a regular basis and to seek solutions to common business problems.  Membership in one or more of the Specialty Forums provides benefits specific to your type of business and interests.

The Chapter level of membership provides contractors and vendors immediate networking, interaction and support. Chapter meetings can include speakers and presentations on topics that can make you more successful. Chapter membership gives you the chance to know your competition as friends and to strengthen your industry locally. 

Council membership provides another conduit between National PDCA and the Chapter level. Councils contribute to the success of the Chapters that make up a Council. Council membership provides you with the opportunity to meet and interact with contractors in your region but maybe not direct competitors. The networking that goes on at this level is very beneficial to PDCA members. Council programs include group insurance benefits, Annual Council Conventions and Tradeshows, Workshops and more Educational programs. Both Chapter and Council membership also provide fun social events such as golf tournaments, fishing outings, charity projects, picnics, and banquets.

Specialty Forum membership provides varied levels of interaction, programs, newsletters, and educational opportunities that address specific business and industry types.
